The Newport News Table Tennis Club (NNTTC) hosted the 2013 NNTTC JOOLA Open in June and it was a big success. They experienced record attendance with a very diverse mix of talent and competitive players. In addition to a very positive event, the club has moved to a new location. With the help and support of McKinley Price, the Mayor; Michael Poplawski, the senior administrator for the Parks and Recreation Department, and many members of the club, tournaments will continue to be held at the Denbigh Community Center, 15198 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23608. The new facility has a double gym, ultra-high ceilings, great lighting, super HVAC, and phenomenal flooring. To top things off, they have brand new JOOLA Tournament Tables, Nets, and Barriers. The end result is a first-class table tennis tournament experience. From the feedback that they have received so far, players are looking forward to the next NNTTC tournament on October 5^th and 6^th.  Regular weekly play will still be at the Midtown Community Center, hopefully to expand to Denbigh as well in the near future. NNTTC hopes to see you there!
