JOOLA Secures Resolution in 8 of 11 Patent Infringement Cases  Protecting Its Patented Propulsion Core Technology
Company signals continued commitment to protecting its innovation as more competitors settle, consent, or face default

NORTH BETHESDA, MD., September 14, 2026 — JOOLA, the fastest-growing paddle sports brand in the world, today announced significant progress in its ongoing patent enforcement campaign, with eight of eleven named defendants now having settled, consented to judgment, or facing pending default. The update marks a decisive point in JOOLA's effort to stop unauthorized use of its patented technology.

At the center of this campaign is JOOLA's proprietary Propulsion Core technology — a patented paddle construction method built into JOOLA's Pro line, including the 3S, 3S Dual, Pro IV, and Pro V paddles used by many of the brand's professional athletes.  JOOLA spent years developing and testing the technology before filing suit against companies that copied the design without authorization. Since initiating action before the U.S. International Trade Commission and in federal court, JOOLA has pursued a consistent mission: protect the innovation behind its products, and pursue resolution with any company that infringes on it. As the innovator behind this technology, JOOLA is committed to protecting its intellectual property — and the industry's response speaks for itself.

Separately, Diadem has failed to respond to the litigation altogether. JOOLA is now asking the court to enter a default judgment against the company.
