Over Labor Day weekend, the pickleball community took over Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, for the JOOLA Pickleball Celebration Event, and the energy matched the name. What unfolded was more than a tournament. It was a full weekend of competition, connection, and pure pickleball joy.

The numbers tell part of the story: over 750 players, 160 teams, and 1,000 total attendees descended on Orlando, with competitors traveling from as far as Argentina, Austria, Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Brazil, Colombia, France, England, and across the USA. From 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., the courts stayed alive with play, proof that when this community gets together, nobody wants to stop.

At the center of it all was the JOOLA Pickleball Teams Championship, where crews came together for a unique team-based format built around all-doubles play, nonstop court time, and plenty of moments worth celebrating. Teams battled through a packed weekend of matchups, bringing strategy, chemistry, and team spirit to every round. From the first serves of divisional play to the final championship points, the tournament delivered the kind of atmosphere you only get when players are competing hard and cheering even harder.
