The 2024 Tanzanian Open took place from December 6–8 in the city of Dar es Salaam, Africa. With over 220 participants from six African countries competing over three days, this event marked the largest pickleball tournament ever held on the continent!
"Hosting an international tournament raises the profile of pickleball in Tanzania, introducing the sport to a broader audience, said Kartik Kapoor, 2024 Tanzanian Open Tournament Director. "By Aligning with a globally recognized brand like JOOLA lends credibility to the sport in Tanzania. It demonstrates that pickleball is taken seriously and attracts attention from players, sponsors, and the broader community."
