What is TechFlex Power? 

TechFlex Power places foam outside the paddle frame but under the edge guard, working with the honeycomb core to expand the sweet spot and add a poppier feel on drives, it's the signature tech of the Pro IV generation. The Advanced foam application at the throat of the paddle optimizes weight distribution in the frame, enhances flexibility, and increases twist weight to deliver unrivaled control and precision. 

Should I get the 14mm or 16mm version?

14mm gives a faster, poppier response for players who like to drive and speed up; 16mm gives more control, dwell time, and forgiveness — best for touch shots and dinks.

Is the Magnus good for one-handed backhands?  

Yes. It was designed with a 5-inch grip length to improve maneuverability and allow closer hand placement, which many single-handed players find helps with wrist action and control on one-handed backhands.
