TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP

AUG 29 - SEPT 1, 2025

The JOOLA Pickleball Teams Championship is your chance to compete in a fun and unique team format. Teams of 3-5 players will compete in a minimum of 6 Team matches over 3 days. The all doubles format ensure you’ll play plenty of matches with your teammates!

DETAILS:

  • Team format, with teams of 3-5 players
  • 3 doubles matches per round, guaranteed 7 team rounds
  • Open to players of all skill levels
  • Players should expect to play 6-8 hours of pickleball per day.
  • A ticket for you and a guest to the Pro Exhibition on Monday, September 1

    Get ready to hone your pickleball skills at JOOLA’s 3-day pickleball clinic. JOOLA’s top touring pros will be offering their expertise in all things pickleball to help you take your game to the next level. Maximum 8:1 coach to player ratio.

  • $1199/per person (Maximum of 112 participants)
  • A ticket for you and a guest to the Pro Exhibition on Monday, September 1
  • 2 1/2 days of on-court instruction/play
  • Maximum 8:1 player/coach ratio levels
  • Open to players of all skill levels

      DAY ONE (The First Four Shots)

      Session #1: Tuesday Sept 2nd AM Session

      • Welcome! Pro Player Intros
      • The Three “Ps”: Placement, Position, Pressure
      • Warm Up Stretches / Paddle Control Drills
      • FOCUS -> Serve/Return Mechanics
        • Weaponizing the Serve
        • Minimizing Return errors

      Session #2: Tuesday Sept 2nd PM Session

      • The Pickleball Stoplight (Yellow and Red Zones)
      • FOCUS -> Third Shot/Fourth Shot Decision Making
        • Third Shot Drop vs Drive
        • Fourth Shot Volley
      • Doubles Games: The First Four Shots

      DAY TWO (Get Comfortable being Uncomfortable)

      Session #3: Wednesday Sept 3rd AM Session

      • Making the best decision in the TRANSITION ZONE
        • Reset volleys, short hopping
      • FOCUS -> Volleys, Volleys, Volleys
        • Block/Punch/Roll/Swinging
      • 4 Person Volley Drills (dingles, dinking around the world, quickhands, etc)

      Session #4: Wednesday Sept 3rd PM Session

      • Getting comfortable at the kitchen line
      • FOCUS -> Fundamentals of DINKING
        • Straight ahead, crosscourt, and 4 person dinking drills
      • FOCUS -> Overhead Smash vs Defending the Lob

      DAY THREE (We Made it!)

      Session #5: Thursday Sept 4th

      • Warm up like a PRO
      • Court Positioning, Doubles Strategy
      • Doubles games and LIVEBALL!

      What is the format for this event?

      How do I register and pay my tournament fees?
      One player from your team should create and pay for your team’s registration using the registration link above. Additional players may be added later, however, the fee to register your must be paid in full by the key contact. It is the team’s responsibility to divide tournament fees (if needed) amongst the other players on their team.
      What does my pickleball championship registration include?
      - Registration for up to 5 team members for the tournament
      - Guaranteed at least 6 team matches over the tournament dates
      - FREE JOOLA paddle or PRO bag of their choice
      - FREE T-shirt
      What does my clinic registration include?
      - 2.5 days of on-court instruction and play with JOOLA’s pros.
      - FREE JOOLA paddle or PRO bag of their choice
      - FREE T-shirt
      Where is the event?
      The Tournament and Clinics will all be in the Florida B-F halls of the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.
      Can I come watch for free?
      Guests are able to cheer on their friends and family participating in the Pickleball Championships at no charge and registration is not required.
      Do I have to have a DUPR Score? How do I find it?
      If you have participated in a past tournament, then you likely have a DUPR score. You can login or create an account on the DUPR website to find your number. These numbers will be used to set the average DUPR number of your team. You will need to create a DUPR account in order to register for the tournament.
      Can I change my free gift selection after I register?
      Yes! You will receive a voucher onsite to redeem for your free gift so you may select a different item then.
      What if I don't have a team and I want to play in the tournament?
      Register online here to find potential teammates!
