Director Digital Sales

JOOLA is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director Digital Sales to lead and grow our digital sales operations across key online marketplaces and owned channels in North America. This role is critical in scaling DTC sales, balancing other digital sales channels including Amazon, retail media networks, and emerging platforms to optimize digital sales performance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong strategic vision, deep understanding of digital commerce, and a proven track record of driving revenue across multiple online environments and channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital sales strategy that prioritizes DTC growth while optimizing sales and distribution across Amazon and other digital sales channels (e.g., Walmart.com, Target.com, social commerce, and retail marketplaces).
  • Own and manage the P&L for digital sales, ensuring profitability and efficiency across all platforms.
  • Direct and mentor a team of performance marketing and digital channel sales specialists to execute sales initiatives and hit revenue targets.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, digital product, sales operations and operations teams to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, promotions, and fulfillment models.
  • Analyze performance metrics, customer data, and competitive trends to inform growth strategies across digital channels.
  • Build strong relationships with Amazon and other retail platform partners to secure marketing opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Assess and manage internal and external resources to effectively execute integrated 1P/3P Amazon models to ensure maximum channel growth, including 3rd party and agency relationships to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally to align demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain execution for digital channels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to optimize digital sales experience.
  • Oversee pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies to ensure competitiveness and margin integrity.
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with platform policies across all digital touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in digital sales or e-commerce, with at least 3 years managing Amazon and other digital channels.
  • Proven success in growing sales on Amazon (1P or 3P) while scaling DTC and other retailer dot-com businesses.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central, Amazon Advertising, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience managing and optimizing other platforms such as Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, Target+, Instacart, or international marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM, e-commerce analytics tools, and marketplace dashboards (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Profitero, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, or health & wellness categories.
  • Knowledge of digital shelf analytics and retail media platforms.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution.
