Senior Digital Product Manager
JOOLA is seeking a Senior Digital Product Manager to lead the strategy, vision, and execution of JOOLA's digital product portfolio. You'll shape how millions of players, retailers, and athletes discover, engage with, and buy JOOLA products online — while building the internal systems that power our teams behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
Vision & Strategy
- Own JOOLA's digital product vision — articulate a multi-year picture of where our digital ecosystem goes, grounded in athlete insights, market trends, and business strategy.
- Lead digital strategy development — define how DTC e-commerce, community platforms, app experiences, and data tools work together to grow JOOLA's global brand.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis — monitor the digital landscape across sports, lifestyle, and DTC brands; identify white space opportunities.
- Build and present business cases — support digital investment decisions with clear ROI frameworks, risk assessments, and prioritization logic for executive audiences.
- Translate brand strategy into digital product decisions — ensure every product touchpoint reflects JOOLA's identity as a performance brand trusted by pros and enthusiasts.
Roadmap & Delivery
- Own the digital product roadmap — maintain a living, outcome-driven roadmap across web, e-commerce, app, and internal tools; communicate trade-offs with clarity.
- Drive quarterly planning cycles — lead OKR definition, sprint planning alignment, and cross-team dependency mapping across product and engineering.
- Manage competing priorities — balance short-term commercial needs (seasonal campaigns, launches) with long-term platform investments.
- Partner with engineering and design — embed in agile squads, writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that teams can act on without constant clarification.
- Oversee go-to-market readiness — collaborate with marketing, sales, and retail partners to ensure digital features ship with the right context and adoption plans.
Requirements & Reporting
- Lead structured discovery — run user interviews, usability sessions, and stakeholder workshops to surface, validate, and prioritize digital requirements.
- Define and own product KPIs — build a performance framework covering acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and NPS across digital products.
- Deliver regular reporting to leadership — maintain a reporting cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly) that surfaces insights, flags risks, and drives action.
- Instrument and measure features — partner with data and analytics teams to ensure every shipped feature is measurable from day one.
- Run experimentation programs — design and analyze A/B tests, feature flags, and phased rollouts to de-risk launches and accelerate learning.
Leadership & Alignment
- Lead and grow the digital product team — manage, coach, and develop a team of PMs and/or associate PMs; establish team rituals, templates, and a culture of craft.
- Drive stakeholder alignment — facilitate workshops and reviews with brand, commercial, retail, and tech leadership; build trust and shared ownership across functions.
- Partner with the C-suite on digital priorities — prepare and deliver regular product strategy briefings, roadmap reviews, and performance updates to executive leadership.
- Champion a product-led mindset — advocate for user-centered thinking, continuous discovery, and iterative delivery across the wider JOOLA organization.
Customer Experience
- Champion the athlete and player journey — map end-to-end digital touchpoints from discovery to post-purchase, identifying friction and opportunity at every stage.
- Drive DTC commerce optimization — own the experience layer of JOOLA's e-commerce platform: PDP quality, checkout conversion, personalization, and post-purchase engagement.
- Build community and engagement features — shape product experiences that connect players, surface content, and deepen loyalty for recreational to competitive audiences.
- Advocate for accessibility and global reach — ensure digital products serve JOOLA's international customer base across regions and languages.
Requirements:
- 6+ years in digital product management, including senior-level ownership.
- Experience leading digital products in a consumer brand, DTC, or sports/lifestyle context.
- Track record of shipping high-impact e-commerce or customer-facing products.
- Strong executive communication — you make complex roadmaps legible to non-technical leaders.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring product teams.
- Fluency with agile methodologies and modern PM tooling (Jira, Figma, Notion, etc.).
- Comfort with analytics platforms (Amplitude, GA4, Looker, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for sport — pickleball, table tennis, or adjacent racket/paddle sports.
- Experience at a sports brand, equipment company, or sports-tech platform.
- Background in Shopify, headless commerce, or DTC platform architecture.
- SQL or BI tool proficiency for self-serve data analysis.
- Experience with community platforms or loyalty programs.
- International product experience across North America, Europe, or Asia-Pacific.
