JOOLA is seeking for a Senior Manager Financial System that will own the strategy, prioritization, and delivery of enterprise accounting and financial systems across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings deep accounting and finance process expertise, hands-on NetSuite experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and a clear understanding of global standards, controls, and operating models.
This role is the global owner of NetSuite ERP and its ecosystem, partnering with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient financial operations. It focuses on modernizing finance systems through automation, standardization, and improved architecture, ensuring accurate and timely accounting across a global, multi-entity environment. The role drives continuous improvement of financial systems to support business growth and increasing complexity.
This role is pivotal in enabling a step jump in finance operations, delivering scalable system architecture, ensuring accurate, efficient and complete accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Own the global strategy and multi-year roadmap for NetSuite ERP and related financial systems, aligned with company objectives and financial reporting requirements.
- Partner with Finance leadership to drive productivity, automation, process optimization, and scalability across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.
- Serve as the primary interface between Finance and Technology for all ERP and financial systems initiatives. Lead cross-functional prioritization of system initiatives, balancing near-term operational needs with long-term platform stability and scalability.
- Mentor and develop ERP and business systems analysts supporting Finance operations.
Financial Systems Ownership
- Act as the end-to-end owner of accounting-related system configuration, workflows, and integrations, including NetSuite, Celigo, banking, tax, and adjacent platforms.
- Own system upgrades, releases, and integrations with retail and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, POS). Ensure accurate, consistent data flows across global subsidiaries, supporting multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidations.
- Lead ERP support during month-end and year-end close, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and timely close execution.
- Partner with Finance leadership to ensure alignment with US GAAP, IFRS, audit readiness, and internal control requirements.
Project Delivery & Governance
- Own intake, evaluation, prioritization, and execution of all financial systems initiatives. Lead requirements definition, functional design, testing (UAT and regression), deployment, and change management.
- Establish and enforce change control, release management, and documentation standards.
- Maintain clear documentation of system architecture, configurations, business processes, and data flows.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Build strong, trust-based partnerships with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to ensure end-to-end alignment of financial systems.
- Communicate roadmap, priorities, risks, and progress clearly to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Serve as the escalation point for ERP-related issues and trade-offs within the Finance organization.
- Build strong partnerships with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to ensure cohesive financial systems alignment.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance Systems, or ERP management.
- 10+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP experience (configuration, administration, integrations).
- Deep understanding of accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition, consolidations).
- Demonstrated success managing ERP projects through full lifecycle — from requirements to go-live.
- Experience with multi-subsidiary environments, intercompany accounting, and foreign currency consolidation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification.
- Experience with Celigo, and Shopify.
- Familiarity with retail or Ecommerce business models.
- Experience with Power BI, or other financial reporting tools.
- Experience supporting audit and SOX compliance within ERP environments.
