Talkin’ Smash Ep4: Craig Bryant on the Seriously Underrated Art of Service Practice

Craig Bryant on Episode 4 of the Talkin' Smash Podcast, talking Service Receive!

Service Practice was the hot topic in Episode 4 of the Talkin’ Smash Podcast! There was no better guest to have right now than former British International Craig Bryant. Craig has an extensive knowledge of the serve game, with a formidable array of serves of his own. You may have seen his viral video ‘4 Killer Serves to Destroy your Opponents‘.

Craig has spent his years developing his ability to educate players and coaches alike on the art of service practice.

We talked about habits we can’t stand seeing when players are practicing their serves, or coaches are teaching their students. It was also great to share stories from all different levels of the game about how much impact a strong serve game can have.

Craig has established himself as a force to be reckoned with online. His new instagram account ‘thettserviceguy‘ which has garnered over 30,000 followers in less than a year. It’s an incredible feat, and also a testament to the need for more content and education about practicing serves. Make sure you give Craig a follow there if you haven’t already, as the content is both entertaining and high value!

Overall it was a very open and down to earth discussion about a part of the game which is often overlooked. A good level of service practice can lift your game significantly, especially in the beginning stages.
