For the Community. For the Culture. For the Love of the Game.
Rockville, MD (5/15/25) – JOOLA is proud to announce a partnership with Honcho Pickleball to bring an exciting pickleball tournament experience to amateur players across the United States.
“What makes this partnership so meaningful is that it’s a true co-developed, co-owned collaboration. Together, with JOOLA’s world-class expertise and Honcho’s roots in amateur pickleball, we are positioned to create something that goes far beyond a typical tournament—an experience built to energize local communities, spotlight everyday players, and celebrate the culture and heart of the game. We couldn’t be more excited to bring it to life across the country,” said Aaron Sunstrum, Founder & CEO, Honcho Pickleball
“As a global leader in the game, JOOLA is committed to elevating the amateur pickleball experience and growing the sport,” said Richard Lee, CEO and Owner of JOOLA. “Together we want to expand the amateur player experience and create something with lasting community impact.”
With stops in key cities across the country, the Tour brings together local scenes and passionate players from all walks of life, uniting them through a shared love of the game.
“We want players to walk away feeling like, 'Wow—that was different. That was special.' It’s about great match play, sure, but it’s also about the energy, the people, and the vibe that make pickleball what it is. Our goal is to set a new standard for what amateur pickleball events look and feel like—and we can’t wait for players across the country to be part of it,” commented Max Berg, COO, Honcho Pickleball.
Tour kicks off on June 21st at the Era pickleball facility in Houston, Texas. Subsequent tour stops are still being finalized, but target cities include Atlanta, GA - Atlanta Pickleball Center, Portland, Oregon - East County Pickleball Courts and Moorestown, NJ – Players Courtyard.
