Johnny Goldberg Joins Team JOOLA
We are happy to announce a new addition to the Team JOOLA roster, men’s pro player Johnny Goldberg.
Johnny discovered pickleball three years ago when he was looking for a new hobby during law school. Growing up he played a variety of sports including baseball, basketball and football, but never any racquet sports.
During his first year of pickleball he was playing around the 3.0-4.0 level. He spent the next year growing his game and improving his level to where at the end of his second year playing the sport, he felt ready to compete at the pro level.
During his first year playing pro he won gold in men’s doubles at the APP New Jersey Open and bronze in men’s doubles at the APP Hilton Head Open.
His wife, Regina Franco Goldberg is also a professional pickleball player and fellow Team JOOLA sponsored player.
