Mastering the Dink with Ben Johns
I believe it was Shakespeare or possibly some random guy at open play, who said, "I Dink, Therefore I am."
When used strategically, the dink can be a Game-Changing shot in pickleball. By landing softly in the non-volley zone, it keeps opponents on the defensive, minimizing their chances to attack. A well-placed dink forces opponents to play low and controlled, often exposing weaknesses or setting up winning shots. It’s also a great equalizer against power players, slowing the pace and putting the focus on precision and patience.
