The JOOLA crew embarked on a trip to Coachella Valley to experience the USA Pickleball National Championships firsthand. It was a great week being on site and meeting so many pickleball players, fans and enthusiasts. We had hundreds of people come by the JOOLA tent to test out our pickleball paddles, chat with our paddle experts, enjoy a game of table tennis and even luck out with a meet and greet with some of our pros. 

While our booth was rocking, the tournament action was also heating up. The week saw many exciting match-ups in both pro and amateur events, and of course, there were plenty of Team JOOLA players in action.

Anna Bright was the first JOOLA player to find medal success. She started off her first two days at the tournament with gold medal victories in Pro Mixed Split Age Doubles with partner Dave Weinbach, and Pro Women's Split Age Doubles with Beth Bellamy. She would go on to also take home silver in the Women's Pro Doubles event alongside Jessie Irvine. 

On the men's side, Ben Johns fought his way to Championship Sunday in men's singles, men's doubles with his brother Collin and mixed doubles with Catherine Parenteau. It was a long, hard-fought day which resulted in gold medal wins in singles and men's doubles and a silver medal in mixed doubles.

It was a successful tournament all around and we look forward to seeing all of our pickleball friends old and new at a tournament again soon!
