Galentine's Day Pickleball
The JOOLA team was feeling the love this past weekend at a Galentine’s Day Pickleball Tournament in Beverly Hills, California. The event was hosted by the ladies behind “The Deep Dive” (June Diane Raphael, Jessica St. Clair) and “Bitch Sesh” (Casey Wilson, Danielle Schneider) podcasts and featured a few other celebrity guests. Among those guests was a notable actress coached by, Matt Manasse (“Pickleball Coach to the Stars”).
To pair with the Wimbledon themed outfits, each player was sporting a JOOLA paddle and the contributions for the event were donated to the “Play Like a Girl” foundation and “Doctors Without Borders”. The “Play Like a Girl” foundation is a charitable organization that aims to level the playing field for girls everywhere who want to pursue a career in STEM, while Doctors Without Borders helps to provide medical care to impoverished areas around the world.
