North American Teams to be hosted at Gaylord National Resort through 2025
The 22nd annual JOOLA North American Teams Tournament, a USATT sanctioned 4-star event, will be held at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, MD for the 6th year in a row after North American Table Tennis, extends partnership contract with Gaylord through 2025.
The three-day competition, taking place over Thanksgiving weekend, boasts players from all over the US as well as entrants from around the world, giving players a chance to mingle and learn new techniques from a broader table tennis community. The tournament features a team component in an otherwise individual-focused sport in the US.
The tournament has been held at the Gaylord National Resort since 2013. It is the largest non-gaming hotel and convention center on the East Coast of the United States. Both the hotel and the playing hall are conveniently housed in the same building.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Gaylord National Resort,” said Richard Lee, President of Sport Squad, Inc, which owns both JOOLA and North American Table Tennis. “The stunning property is well-run, well-maintained, and offers everything needed to provide our tournament participants with the best experience – in and out of the tournament hall.”
Each year, Teams participants are offered exclusive room rates that include 2 free tickets to the hotel’s popular Dreamwork’s ICE! attraction, discounted parking, as well as free wireless internet in common areas. Located just downriver from Washington, DC, the Gaylord Resort is a short ride away for players to enjoy in their downtime, all that the nation’s capital has to offer. Teams participants can book their 2019 stay now through this link.
