A Summer to Remember: Recapping the 2026 JOOLA Pops Summer Tour

This summer, JOOLA did something it had never done before: it put the whole brand on wheels. The 2026 JOOLA Pops Summer Tour brought the JOOLA Pops ice cream truck across the country, turning courts and community events into full-blown summer parties — complete with Rally Rocket paddle demos, carnival-style games, giveaways, and (of course) free popsicles.

It was JOOLA's first-ever tour of its kind, built to surprise and delight players wherever they found them, and to put the brand in front of new audiences who may have never picked up a paddle before. By the time the truck rolled its last mile, the tour had racked up
34 activations across 15 cities, drawn 4,700+ attendees, handed out 3,147 complimentary popsicles, and put paddles in hands for 400+ demos. From the first stop in Dallas to the last one on the East Coast, the tour was proof that summer really is better with a JOOLA in your hand.

Tour Stops
Dallas, TX kicked things off at Pickler Universe, tying in with the Dallas MLP event and giving fans their first-ever look (and taste) of the Rally Rocket collection.

From there, the tour pushed into Arkansas and Tennessee, bringing the same sun-soaked energy to communities that don't always get the big brand activations — proving the JOOLA Summer wasn't just for major markets.

St. Louis, MO brought the Midwest into the mix with a three-stop stretch: the Dwight Davis Tennis Center, followed by back-to-back visits to the Missouri Pickleball Club locations in Fenton and Ellisville, with lines forming early for popsicles and paddle demos at every stop.

Chicago, IL turned up the volume even more at SPF Chicago, with the truck parked in the middle of the city's thriving pickleball scene.

The tour kept rolling through Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, where nostalgia was the name of the game — the drippy, red-white-and-blue Rally Rocket design and classic popsicle-truck vibe had players of every generation feeling like kids again.

By the time the truck hit New York City, the energy had reached a fever pitch, with back-to-back stops at CityPickle Atlantic Terminal and CityPickle Hudson Yards, where fans lined up for a chance to demo the Pro V Rally Rocket paddles before they even officially launched.

New Jersey kept the momentum going before the tour turned toward the DMV, where it stacked several stops in quick succession: Club Volo in Baltimore, Copper Union, the YMCA in Silver Spring, and Washington, D.C. in between.

The tour wrapped its final stretch with Delaware and a stop at Pickleball Virginia Beach — fitting, since the JOOLA Pops Summer Tour was dreamed up right in JOOLA's own backyard of North Bethesda, MD. These final stops brought the tour full circle, closing out the summer with the same fun-first energy it started with.

Talk of the Town
Across every stop, one thing was clear: people couldn't stop talking about the JOOLA Pops Summer Tour. On TikTok, creators leaned all the way into the nostalgia, framing the Rally Rocket collection as a paddle that "looks like a snack" and "plays like a dream," with unboxing videos calling out the popsicle-inspired packaging, stickers, and ice-like accessories that came with it.

The energy carried over to Instagram, where accounts like PROSHOT Pickleball shared reel coverage of the truck's stops as they happened.

Pickleball media picked up on the same enthusiasm. Empower Pickleball framed the tour as a genuine culture moment rather than typical gear marketing, tapping into the nostalgia and community feel that drew a lot of players to the sport in the first place. The Dink Pickleball covered the tour's city-by-city itinerary and the ice cream truck centerpiece as the tour kicked off.

A Summer of Memories
The 2026 JOOLA Pops Summer Tour was more than a launch for the Rally Rocket paddle (*limited number of paddles available until July 31 on JOOLA.com) — it was a celebration of everything summer and pickleball have in common: joy, nostalgia, and a reason to get outside and play. From Dallas to Delaware, the tour turned ordinary courts and community spaces into pop-up parties, introduced new players to the game, and gave longtime fans a summer they won't forget.

By the numbers, it was a summer for the books:

  • 34 activations across 15 cities
  • 4,700+ attendees
  • 3,147 complimentary popsicles distributed
  • 400+ paddle demos conducted

It was the first tour of its kind for JOOLA, and if the numbers — and the reaction from every stop — are any indication, it won't be the last.

Relive the whole summer — every stop, every popsicle, every rally — in the album below.
